Guelph Soccer is co-hosting the 2026 BMO Girls Play ON! being held on Sunday, July 19 at Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School in Guelph!

BMO Girls Play ON! is an innovative girls’ soccer program and leadership day, engaging girls through coaching and playing opportunities.

The program will create a safe and inclusive environment where girls can:

• Enjoy a social setting;
• Play the game they love;
• Learn about coaching;
• Mentor and mentee with girl coaches and facilitators.

By participating in this program, girls will be inspired to stay in soccer longer. They will also aspire to continue their soccer career in other avenues than simply playing (coaching, refereeing, volunteering, etc.).

Who can coach?

U16 - U21 Young Women (2005-2010)

Interested in being a soccer coach? You can get certified for free through BMO Girls Play ON! Morning workshops will be offered to a handful of U16-U21 young women. By the afternoon, participants will put their new coaching skills to use in a 3v3 style tournament.

Who can play?

U7 and U8 Girls (2018 and 2019)

During the afternoon session, Girls in the U7 and U8 age divisions will split into small teams for a 3v3 FunFest. Each group will be assigned a newly-trained coach for the afternoon. Participants will also receive a free t-shirt and BMO swag bag!
