League Assistant / Social Media Coordinator

We are excited to announce that Southwest Soccer is hiring for the position of League Assistant / Social Media Coordinator.

The position may be partially funded through Canada Summer Jobs and will permit us to expand our field presence and offer additional in office assistance.

Position Title: League Assistant / Social Media Coordinator
Position Term: 30/hrs a week (May 25th - August 31st 2026)
Compensation: $19/hr (may be partially funded by Canada Summer Jobs)
Location:  Office (Kitchener, ON) / Various Fields within Southwest Soccer
Requirements:

• Must clear a criminal record check and vulnerable sector search
• Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
• Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred
• Must be willing to complete initial and post employment forms to fulfill CSJ requirements with the Government of Canada.
• Must be legally entitled to work according to Ontario legislation and regulations
• Must have a flexible schedule and be committed to working some day time hours, evenings,  most Saturdays (no long weekends will be scheduled), and attend key events on:

- June 27th (Canada Soccer Grassroots Festival)
- July 25th  (Circle K Celebration)
- August 23rd  (U17/U18-U21 Cup Championships)
- August 29th and August 30th (Ontario Cup Semi-Finals)
